Since Blackbird’s Inception, our shows have been documented behind the scenes by a dedicated videographer.
Kirsty MacDonald is a filmmaker whose passion for people and music is evident in her countless hours of documentary footage of Blackbird Ensemble.
One day, this footage will be compiled into a feature film. In the meantime, you can have some sneaky little peaks at what happens behind the scenes on our time consuming productions.

We also work with another talented videographer, Priscilla Northe of Striped Trees Productions. She created some beautiful footage for us on several occasions. Here’s a small piece she created for ‘By the Sea’. She also created all the videos from the Night Sky Galatos shows, some of the most gorgeous footage we have of the ensemble. Priscilla also is a talented stills photographer, and took all our amazing publicity images for “Dreams” and “The Wilderness.”
